An experimental film ‘Eega’ was undertaken by successful director SS Rajamouli, after his recent hit ‘Maryada Ramanna’. The shooting of the film is presently in progress.

Walt Disney is eagerly looking to co-produce the film because the film had an animated object of a ‘housefly’ in the title role. Nani of ‘Ashta Chemma’ and ‘Bhimili Kabaddi Jattu’- fame is playing the hero in the movie.

The latest buzz is that Kannada actor Sudeep was roped in for a negative role in the movie. Rajamouli had posted this information in his Twitter account. Sudeep also played in ‘Phoonk’ of Ram Gopal Varma and also played the role of a reporter in his recent release ‘Rakta Charitra’. After watching Sudeep’s performance in Rann, Rajamouli contacted him.

The tweet says, “Sudeep agreed to act in Eega as antagonist. Loved his style in Rann. Finally Eega is moving forward. I'm very excited.”
